| Namaste. Welcome back to HindiPod101.com, the easiest, smartest and the quickest way to learn Hindi online. My name is Anuj Khurana and I am back with yet another Hindi lesson for you all. So today, we are going to discuss 10 Sentences Which You Never Want to Hear. |
| So let’s begin. |
| 1. आपका एक बाल सफ़ेद है। (Aapkaa ek baaL SafeD hai.) "You have a gray hair." |
| Well, there is nothing scary about this because with age, with the passage of time, they are going to come. So there is nothing to fear about gray hair I believe. |
| 2. मैंने बोला था! (maiNe boLaa THaa!) "I told you!" |
| मैंने बोला था! (maiNe boLaa THaa!) which means, “I told you.” |
| So this can be taken into the context that I’ve already warned you not to do something and unfortunately some bad thing has happened. So it can be taken in that context. |
| 3. हम आपको नौकरी से निकाल रहे हैं! (ham aapko naukri Se NikaaL rahe hain.) "You're fired!" |
| And the next sentence is, हम आपको नौकरी से निकाल रहे हैं! (ham aapko naukri Se NikaaL rahe hain.) which means, “you’re fired!” |
| This is scary now. I hope no one gets to hear this sentence from anyone. I wish everyone all the best for that. |
| 4. तुम्हारी नहीं, मेरी वजह से है। (Tumhaari Nahin, merii vajah Se hai.) "It is not because of you, it’s because of me." |
| Moving on to the next sentence which is, तुम्हारी नहीं, मेरी वजह से है। (Tumhaari Nahin, merii vajah Se hai.) “It’s not because of you, it’s because of me.” |
| 5. अपने बायो डाटा देने के लिए धन्यवाद, लेकिन, यह पोज़िशन भर गयी है। (apNe baayo daataa DeNe ke Lie DHaNyavaaD, lekin, yah pozisaN bhar gayii hai.) "Thank you so much for sending your resume, unfortunately, this position has been filled." |
| But never mind, there are many other options available for you. So just keep applying. Don’t feel sad about it. |
| 6. हमें दूसरों का साथ ढूंढ़ना चाहिए । (hamen DuuSron kaa SaaTH dhuuNdhNaa caahie.) "We should seek other people." |
| Moving onto the next sentence which is, हमें दूसरों का साथ ढूंढ़ना चाहिए । (hamen DuuSron kaa SaaTH dhuuNdhNaa caahie.) "We should seek other people." |
| 7. अभी मेरे पास आपके पैसे नहीं है। (abhii mere paaS aapke paiSe Nahii hai.) "As of now, I don't have your money." |
| So our next sentence is, अभी मेरे पास आपके पैसे नहीं है। (abhii mere paaS aapke paiSe Nahii hai.) "As of now, I don't have your money." |
| Well, we amongst friends keep on giving money to each other and I use this sentence a lot. |
| 8. माफ़ कीजिए, मैं भूल गया! (maaf kiijie, main bhuul gayaa!) "Forgive me, I forgot!" |
| So, next sentence is, माफ़ कीजिए, मैं भूल गया! (maaf kiijie, main bhuul gayaa!) "Forgive me, I forgot!" |
| Just imagine you’ve asked something from your friends and he’s showing up to you and he didn’t get the stuff which you asked for. So at that time, people use this sentence a lot. |
| माफ़ कीजिए, मैं भूल गया! (maaf kiijie, main bhuul gayaa!) |
| 9. यह पूरा गलत है। (yah puuraa galaT hai.) "This is all wrong." |
| यह पूरा गलत है। (yah puuraa galaT hai.) which means, "This is all wrong." |
| Just imagine you have put all your hard work to finish some project and when you are showing it up, the person is saying that it’s completely wrong. यह पूरा गलत है। (yah puuraa galaT hai.) |
| 10. आज यह रस्ता बंद है, आपको घूमकर जाना पड़ेगा। (aaj yah raSTaa baND hai, aapko ghuumkar jaaNaa padegaa.) "The road is closed; you have to go around." |
| Just imagine you are getting late for some meeting or maybe for a party and you get to hear this. |
