| Listen to the dialogue. |
| इसे कैसे कहते हैं? (iSe kaiSe kahaTe hain?) |
| यह "पार्किंग" है। (yah "paarking" hai.) |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| इसे कैसे कहते हैं? (iSe kaiSe kahaTe hain?) |
| “How do you say this?” |
| यह "पार्किंग" है। (yah "paarking" hai.) |
| "It's 'parking lot.'” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “How do you say this?” |
| That's: |
| इसे कैसे कहते हैं? (iSe kaiSe kahaTe hain?) |
| Listen to it again: |
| इसे कैसे कहते हैं?, इसे कैसे कहते हैं? (iSe kaiSe kahaTe hain?, iSe kaiSe kahaTe hain?) |
| This Hindi sentence means something like " This how say are? ” But it means “How do you say this?” |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| यह[ ]है। (yah[ ]hai.) |
| This Hindi sentence literally translates into " It [word] is. ” But it means “It's (word).” |
| For example: |
| "It's 'parking lot.'” |
| यह "पार्किंग" है।, यह "पार्किंग" है। (yah "paarking" hai., yah "paarking" hai.) |
