After that, you have hotal, which is the same as "hotel" in English.
Following that, we have CHHodne kaa. This literally means "to leave," and it is from the verb CHHodnaa.

So to recap here, we have kya samay hai hotal CHHodne kaa. Literally, this means "What time must we check out?"
Let's look at some other words you could need while staying in a hotel, because there will be times when you need more of certain things. Here are a few more words that might come in handy.

The first words are THoda aur, and it means "some more."
Let's break down this word and hear it one more time: Thoda

Finally, you have hai, meaning "is." So altogether, we have THoda aur saabun mil sakTa hai? Literally, this means, "Can I have some more soap?"
That's all for this lesson. Have a great stay at the hotel!

Outro

Okay. To close out this lesson, we'd like you to practice what you've just learned. I'll provide you with the English equivalent of the phrases, and you're responsible for shouting it out loud. You have a few seconds before I give you the answer, so गुड लक! (guud Lak!), which means "good luck" in Hindi.

Hi Christina,

This sentence is correct: "kyaa kamre mein ek pankhaa hai?"

The other sentence is incorrect as room is a non-living entity so it cannot possess anything.

Cheers!

Hi. Can you please translate the last phrase: "Have a great stay at the hotel?" It is being said so quickly in the recording and it´s not written down in the lesson material. Thanks.

Hi Anthony,

Small corrections!

क्या आप हमें एक कमरा दो लोग के लिये दिखा सकते हैं?

Correct- kyaa aap Do logon ke liye ek kamraa Dikhaa sakTe hain?

Can you show us a room for 2 people?

क्या कमरे के पास एक पंखा है?

Correct- kyaa kamre mein ek pankhaa hai?

Does the room have a fan?

हमें एक कमरा सड़क के किनारे नहीं चाहिये क्योंकी सड़क की अवाज़ जोर लगती है।

Correct- humein kamra sadak ke kinaare nahi chahiye kyunki sadak ki awaaz bahuT Taez hoTii hai

We want a room not by the street because the street noise is loud.

Cheers,

Neha
